Photoshop CS6 / Photoshop Extended CS6 System Requirements
Photoshop CS6 runs 64-bit native on Mac OS X, Microsoft® Windows Vista®, and Windows® 7 platforms. It can also run in 32-bit mode on Windows platforms, including Windows XP (although Photoshop Extended’s 3D features and some GPU-accelerated functions are not available on XP). 64-bit users should realize noticeably greater gains in performance, in some cases as dramatic as ten times the 32-bit speed.
See Adobe’s quick reference guide to video card usage in Photoshop CS6, including tested and recommended graphics cards, minimum display requirements, and GPU settings.
Windows Vista is not officially supported, however Photoshop CS6 will run on Vista and Adobe does not restrict users from installing and using it on their Vista systems with Service Pack 2.
Adobe says that CS6 will be the last major version of Photoshop to support Windows XP.
